Mentoring is a relationship between an experienced person and a less experienced person. The more experienced person shares their knowledge and valuable experience through support, wisdom and hindsight.
Mentors will answer the questions from their protégés with business information that they will need to succeed in reaching their goals. The mentor will motivate, increase the confidence and self esteem of the mentee, impart personal wisdom and often offer a form of counselling, as mentees advance on their business journey.
I am a Business Development Consultant (Business Advisor). I listen to your current situation and then offer advice on how to make changes to improve, develop and move forward which is ‘directive’.
Depending on the particular needs of my client (from a simple competitor research to a full face to face Business Development session), will determine what they need from me and what is needed for their business.
Every business has a different set of circumstances and challenges. Therefore the service required for each business may be different (please see my services page).
I work organically. I do not offer a one size fits all approach. Of course there are often commonalities between clients, but I prefer not to be briefed before we meet. I work best when I think and react directly, on the day, during our time together, to the challenges experienced at that time.
